MolecularDiagnostics.be reserves the right to change the privacy policy at all times. These changes will be listed on this page. Unless stated otherwise, the following sections are relevant to both the main website and to the forum, that are hosted on www.moleculardiagnostics.be. An account at the main website is required to be able to register for an account at the forum.


Use and storage of your personal data

The data your provide during registration for an account or on other pages will only be used for its intended purpose in the context of the society (see Bylaws of the society). It will not be used for commercial means or for marketing purposes, nor will they be shared with third parties.

We maintain your data on a Secure Server and it is accessible only to the webmasters and the website host. Your name, affiliation and mail address is also accessible by the board members of MolecularDiagnostics.be. The administrators cannot be held accountable if these data would be compromised by a hacking or in other circumstances beyond our control.

The MolecularDiagnostics.be website contains links to other websites. MolecularDiagnostics.be is not responsible for the privacy policy on these websites and cannot be held liable for any actions performed on third party websites.


Use of cookies

The MolecularDiagnostics.be website uses cookies to distinguish you form other users on our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse the MolecularDiagnostics.be website and also allows us to improve the website. By using the MolecularDiagnostics.be website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our policies.

Right to be forgotten or to change your data

If you want your data removed from the database or you want to change something, please contact the webmasters (info@moleculardiagnostics.be) from the mail address linked to your account. If you no longer have access to the mail address that was used to register, you can change it by selecting 'My account', altering the data and clicking 'Save'. After you have sent this mail, we will remove your data free of charge within 7 days from the database. The 'My account' portal provides access to the list of tests, instruments and events linked to your account.
