Culture. Suspected resistant isolates (Enterobacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii) can be sent on plate or in tube along with identification of the isolate, antibiogram and clinical data.
Complete characterisation of resistance mechanisms to beta-lactams is reported within 1 to 2 weeks.
