Target:
The selected presentations will be a mix of introductions, pipeline demonstrations and a technical session in three commonly used Pipeline Engines (NextFlow, CromWell and SnakeMake). The presentations are aimed at both beginner and advanced levels of Bioinformatics, although some basic knowledge (bioinformatics and programming) is required.

  • 10h30 Coffe break
  • 10h40 Nextflow technical session (Nicolas Vannieuwkerke, UZGent + Daan Jansen, ITG) (bring your own laptop for this session, no installation required)
  • 11h25 Coffee break
  • 11h35 Nextflow testing and validation with nf-test (Koen Swaerts, AZ Delta)
  • 12h30 Lunch
  • 13h30 Cromwell (Geert Vanderweyer, UZ Antwerpen)
  • 14h30 Coffee break
  • 15h SnakeMake (Bruno Hinckel, UZ Brussels)
  • 16h Meeting Closure
