MolecularDiagnostics.be is concerned about your privacy and will manage your personal information in a responsible way. The webmasters and site host treat the personal data according to the Belgian law of 8th December 1992 concerning the protection of private information in the collection of personal data and the GDPR regulation. MolecularDiagnostics.be reserves the right to change the privacy policy at all times. These changes will be listed on this page.


Use and storage of your personal data

The data your provide during registration for an account or on other pages will only be used for its intended purpose in the context of the society (see Bylaws of the society). It will not be used for commercial means or for marketing purposes, nor will they be shared with third parties.

We maintain your data on a Secure Server and it is accessible only to the webmasters and the website host. Some data (your name and mail address) is also accessible by the other board members of MolecularDiagnostics.be.

The MolecularDiagnostics.be website contains links to other websites. MolecularDiagnostics.be is not responsible for the privacy policy on these websites and cannot be held liable for any actions performed on third party websites.


Use of cookies

The MolecularDiagnostics.be website uses cookies to distinguish you form other users on our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse the MolecularDiagnostics.be website and also allows us to improve the website. By using the MolecularDiagnostics.be website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our policies.


Right to be forgotten or to change your data

If you want your data removed from the database or you want to change something, please contact one of the webmasters (info@moleculardiagnostics.be) from the mail address used to register.  If you no longer have access to this mail address, please send us a mail from another mail address. We will, within 7 days, send a confirmation mail to the original mail address used for registering and when this mail is bounced, or no answer is obtained within 14 days, we will remove your data free of charge. The time between your request and the removal of your data will be at maximum 21 days.
You can edit your phone number or email address directly by selecting 'My account', altering the data and clicking 'Save'. This portal also provides access to the list of tests, instruments and events linked to your account.
